The Procedure

THERMOGRAPHY IS A NON-INVASIVE TEST, THEREFORE, THERE IS NO CONTACT WITH THE BODY, NO RADIATION AND THE PROCEDURE IS COMPLETELY PAINLESS. THERE IS NO NEED FOR A PRESCRIPTION IN ORDER TO HAVE THE TEST.

When you arrive, you will go into the thermography room and be asked to remove all clothing and jewelry appropriate for the test and put on a gown with the opening in the front. While relaxing in the gown and acclimating to the room temperature, you will then be asked to fill out paper-work, including your health history and a HIPPA form that allows us to transmit your information and images to the team of doctors that will interpret your test and then send the results back to us. When you are finished filling out your paper-work, we will review it with you and ask you any appropriate questions to ensure that, the doctor has as much relevant information as possible.

We will then take your images as follows:

• 5+ for a breast study or ROI (Region of Interest)
• 20+ for an upper body study;
• 30+ for full body study (includes breast study for women)

Upon leaving, we will transmit your history and images to the team of doctors, one of whom, will do your interpretation, write a report and then send it back to us with your images. When we get your report back, usually within 24-48 hours, we will call you and read you, your results. Then, we will email or mail a copy of your results to you and to any health-care provider of your choosing, along with a cover letter.
