Pilates mat exercise is a challenging yet safe method using slow motion movement to help sculpt and tone muscles, giving your body a long, lean look.

  • The class incorporates key principles such as; postural alignment, breathing, core stability, controlled movement and flexibility.
  • Pilates can aid in flexibility and improving posture as stretching your body is a vital part of class.
  • Each class we will work on to balance all muscle groups, strength and flexibility, with emphasis on challenging the core muscle.

Wear comfortable workout clothing. Bring a mat.
Men and women of all fitness levels can enjoy the benefits of Pilates!

Our classes have resumed in person. Walk-ins are welcome but please call us prior to attending your first class, if you have never attended before.

PILATES CLASS SCHEDULE:

Monday evenings 6:00 – 6:45 PM

Cost is $15 to drop in or buy a 10 class pass for $125, valid for 1 year

OUR PILATES INSTRUCTOR:

JOSEPHINE CAPIZZI

Josephine grew up dancing and being active from an early age. She studied ballet, jazz, hip hop, and lyrical dance. It wasn’t until she was diagnosed with breast cancer that she decided to become an instructor. After taking a Zumba class she was hooked on how it made her feel. Free and energized. She became an instructor in 2009, and has been teaching ever since. After becoming licensed in Zumba, Zumba Gold, Zumba Step, Zumba Tone, and Strong by Zumba, she decided to focus on a different venture and turned to Pilates. She became certified in 2015 but started teaching the art in 2017. Pilates became a passion for her, since it took her back to her ballet days. She loves to see clients recognize the movement of their bodies, discover how capable they truly are, and be part of the experience that challenges both their bodies and minds.
